Hi friends, I haven’t posted in a while but sitting at the hospital and super anxious. CT scan today on a questionable nodule that is 7mm x 8mm. Long smoking history and a FEV of 79% (pretty great considering) but have had right upper lobe tightness and short of breath. No longer smoking and trying to improve my lung strength. Just turned 53 last week. At my last scan dr decided we should wait 6 months to recheck the nodule growth as the surgery risk was higher. Just looking for some positive vibes today and maybe a few prayers. You all are way better than any google search and some the most incredibly strong people. xx

Thanks for the reply. I am in Res Sox nation This is my 3rd CT in 9 months! They have said I will need annual follow ups. I am not on any meds and maybe it’s time to discuss inhalers for the sob and chest tightness assuming this CT is negative.
Have you not had a PFT or spirometry which told you what stage you were, and were the results mild? I thought otherwise but have not gone back to read your earlier posts but if you have been told mild by 2 GPs and 2 Pulmonologists that should make you feel better.
They should continue to monitor the nodules. Hopefully they are benign and will not get any bigger. But for now all you can do is wait and watch. Please keep us posted.
