Good for you. I quit smoking 23 years ago and it was one of the hardest things I ever did....but worth it.

Quiting smoking is one of the hardest things I have done. How I wish I had never smoked that first one. You can QUIT.

Likewise I wish I had never smoked first of many ciggies, finding it difficult this now but will try to focus on the positives,, thankyou for your encouragement.

Lomaran ,try and see ciggies as the enemy, pretend you are fighting in a battle and they are the bad boys, and they can't win because every time they try you zap them with the washing up liquid or anything you have to hand, they say that if you can do something or not do something in this case for 28days then you break the habit! I'm 0n my 25th day so here's hoping the 28th day my mirical will take place!!!!!!!!! But seriously think how proud you will be when you look back and laugh at those expensive soldiers in white coats waiting and waiting for you to pick them up ,they will give in in the end and try and claim another victim , but it won't be you!!!!!!!!! Keep strong my friend ,go to the vaping shop and get yourself set up with an Endura t18 all different strengths of nicotine and flavours and watch the ciggies money collect in the pot. I have saved £200 pounds and counting. You can do it ,it's not as bad as you think! However it took me fifty years to get to this point so don't be too hard on yourself. Moyz

Hang in there. It's really worth the hard work--and it IS hard. It's been 15 years for me after many failed attempts.

3rd of May was my last ciggie, using a e-ciggie at times, it really helps with the craving. Am determined to do it this time. Thing is I enjoyed the cigs, but trying to stay focused on the health benefit And the monetary gain. x

Hi jimmy, well done on deciding to stop smoking, all I can say is to take one step at a time, one of the incentives was to watch the money preciously spent on ciggies now. I also use the nocolette e-ciggies to banish any cravings, just focus on your reason for stopping and look forward to better health and fatter wallets...keep in touch, lots of support and encouragement from all your friends on this forum...
