Went for 1st appoinment sleep.apnea got to use equipment today..respiratory consultant went through my recent pulmonary test gas exchange he said 59 should be between 60_70 copd top end moderate...he explained far better than my consultant
He said as I stopped smoking my emphysima should get no worse...he is a respiritory consultant...do all consultants have a different view of this disease...some say yes some say no.
Even nurses disagree but everything on BLF NHS WEBSITE Say progressive???? NHS WEBSITE said stop smoking can help stop copd getting worse, but still says progressive...the outcome part of NHS WEBSITE said outcome treatment for some the condition that does not severely impact a person's life, whilst for others even with treatment continue to get worse.
Any comments please
