Today I have taken my first dose of Yupelri I have Stage 3 COPD and recently have had to occasionally use supplemental O2. I have tried all other medications Spriva, Symbicort and Spirva Respimat together, Anoro, Trelegy with NO success. My Dr. ordered Yupleri and I have just taken it, The results of the trials seem encouraging but I am interested in others experience such as results, side effects and overall opinions are all welcome

I like it as far as breathing better goes. One of the side effects is it messes w/ your vision. I'm not good on that account and this is altering it somewhat. Hopefully it will settle down. I do like the med nebilized instead of the handiholder inhaled capsule of Spiriva

Thanks for the reply for me nothing else has been effective. Too early to tell if it is helping yet. I do notice that my mouth is getting dry. Have you experienced any other side effects? Also I am medicare and it is expensive. How do you get it?

I have dry mouth anyway from other meds. Try Biotene dry mouth gel, works the best for me so far. If you are on Original Medicare with a supplemental policy the Yupelri should be costing you next to nothing on Medicare Part B under DME Durable Medical Equiptment. Nebulizers and Nebulized medicine falls under that .

Thanks the dry mouth after 3 days is not to bad but so far not any improvement in my breathing. Yes I was quite happy to learn that my supplement and Medicare pay for it and it doesn’t count towards the donut hole.

Please do responds, I would be interested to hear as my doc also suggested yupelri and perforomist as alternates to Spirivia and Advair. After checking the reviews I decided it was not worth it ($100 month for one of them and $300 for the other) when people using it said it didn't make a difference after a month or so. I pay about $20/month for both Advair and Spirivia total.
