Feeling overwhelmed
The GP has now prescribed
Anoro
Ellipta
which does seem to help a little but has referred me to the rapid access chest pain clinic and I have an appointment in a few weeks. The HDCT has now confirmed early lung scarring and I've been referred to the respiratory clinic. Waiting for an appointment.

Hi all. So 16 months ago my surgery decided to change my medication to Beclametasone and Anoro inhalers. I finally (not seen anyone in Respiratory since 2017 ) had an over the phone appointment with a doctor from the hospital Respiratory team who told me I was on the wrong medication and that I was

A few weeks ago I had a text to arrange my annual COPD review. This is normally with the practice nurse who can prescribe medications too. I was surprised to be given a Doctor appointment. I am mild COPD and was taking Salmeterol and Carbocisteine. It seemed quite effective. The doctor advised that I

Odd episode.
This am: took my meds (nothing new), used my new but long prescribed Anoro. Then had breakfast. Suddenly, during breakfast, felt very ill, gasping for breath and all over body aching. Had to lie down. Tested: temperature 36.1; pulse 80; but oxygen saturation just 88. Used Salmon inhaler (prompted

Trelegy ellipta post inhalation cough anyone?
I have been on this med for one month. I was taking Fostair Nexthaler 100 mgs but post Covid in October I was struggling to recover my lung capacity. I find that for an hour or so after my once a day inhalation I have a tickly cough. I do rinse my mouth out and gargle afterwards.

Short of breath.
Hi all, haven't posted for a long time but read posts most days. Had a HA and 1 stent fitted 3 years ago and on the usual tablets no problem. In the last 2 weeks when I am about to nod off I feel as if I'm going to stop breathing and wake up and it's very scary, and try to sleep with more pillows sitting

I have been on this medication for 3 months now and alarmed at how my weight has been in creasing. I am in my seventies and was always a stable weight and this medication does help. I was also started on Ad Cal roughly at the same time. Any thoughts? Thank you. Lungs

I had a bad cough with a chest infection (in my opinion). The third time this year. On previous 2 occasions, I was given 30mg pred per day for 5 days and an antibiotic, and chest cleared each time. I have been in contact with covid, but have not had +ve test. This time I was not given, I was refused

New Inhalers
Last month I couldn't breathe - ended up in hospital for 11 days! I was diagnosed with COPD 7 years ago & had a lung wedge for cancer 6 years ago. Now have had x-ray, CT & PET scan - my inhaler was changed from Ultibrow to Anoro - & I now have Easyinhaler instead of ventolin. Also put me on Carbocisteine

Change of prescription
My doctor is changing my prescription from Braltus to Anoro. Has anyone using this inhaler noticed an improvement in their breathing. I would welcome any advice. Thanks.
