Anoro Ellipta

He told me to continue with the Anoro Ellipta inhaler and if it doesn't work I may need changing to the one with steroid. He also said the salamol inhaler wouldn't help much - it doesn't . Still a bit confused what having these abnormalities means.

My GPS has been treating me for copd for three years .I have recently had two breathing tests and now the doctor has said that I have ashma but they are leaving me on anoro ellipta can anyone tell me if they use anoro for asthma. Thanks

The GP has now prescribed Anoro Ellipta which does seem to help a little but has referred me to the rapid access chest pain clinic and I have an appointment in a few weeks.The HDCT has now confirmed early lung scarring and I've been referred to the respiratory clinic. Waiting for an appointment.

I have been to the doctors and the nurse who have given me a different inhaler Anoro Ellipta.

I was completely floored when the nurse said I had COPD and gave me a leaflet and a new inhaler Anoro Ellipta. my parents were both very heavy smokers but I have never smoked. My dad had emphysema and was on oxygen. Im terrified I end up as he did before he sadly passed away.

In Sept 2022 i got the flu which turned into pneumonia. Never been so sick. Anyway after i recovered i had a cough that would not go away. Just a dry loud cough. I got x-rays and a CT scan done which were not damning but said i had a pleural effusion and some plugging etc most likely from the pneumonia

I have been on this med for one month. I was taking Fostair Nexthaler 100 mgs but post Covid in October I was struggling to recover my lung capacity. I find that for an hour or so after my once a day inhalation I have a tickly cough. I do rinse my mouth out and gargle afterwards.
