Just thinking about my heart instead of my lungs for a change

Hi I walked up moel fahma today that’s 55min steep climb exercising my lungs my breathing ok but towards the top I could actually hear my heart beating sat down and took my pulse 100 anyone think this is normal

Sounds like it makes sense to me. You were working it & I would think your pulse would go up. I just did my 1st ever 5 k & it involved hills. I not only had trouble breathing, but my heart was beating fast. Anyways, I came in last at 55:53. But I agree, it's good exercise for our lungs. Terri

Hi Christina. 100bpm pulse is normal for a steep climb in fact it's quite low compared to mine. I find if I walk up hills it can go up to 130-135bpm. You must be fit - keep up the good work!
