Does anyone know of an antidepressant that doesn't have a ton of side effects? Someone also said it's dangerous for me to cook or bake when on 02

Hi

Speak to your GP the majority of drugs have lots of warnings about side effects, this does not you will be affected.

It's ill advised to be close to a naked flame when using oxygen. All the risk should have been explained in your home oxygen brochure, or by the fire brigade who should have done a home assessment,( iam in the UK )

I was was told to stay away from open flames I have electrics stove it's ok

If using a gas stove then no it's too dangerous. I take Zoloft and I don't notice any side effects from it.

There are no depression meds that do not mess with you ,when u have copd , not a good combo, but there needed in so many people most people with this disease are depressed unfortunately , it is a bleak diagnosise knowing there is no light at the end of that tunnel, but that doesn't mean u can't make the most of life , many people live a long long life with this disease so don't get depressed over that it hard not being able to do what we want and used to do , but I have to tell u I was on many depression pills was told I was bipolar and I do have my moods but I'm not crazy I do not take anything but the meds for copd and blood thinners I don't even think these Dr. Know depression I think most the time they know by keeping u comming back every month and getting kick backs from drug co. fills there bank accounts ,they had me on two three different meds and I still got sad and bitchie , I got off all of them and having taken a thing in years , unfortunately I have this diseases and a few other health issues but I keep kicking I suggest u do the same ,

I have never had a problem taking antidepressant with copd. I know many people that do take them with no problem at all. I take effexor.

O yeah oxygen is and xcellerant not and explosive gas look it up u just do not want to be around open flame with it blowing on it it creates a very hot flame and the only reason they say and treat it like it is when something like a fire breaks out and oxygen comes in quick contract it will seem like it's blowing up but it is just feeding the fire , if u were to take away the oxygen that fire would go out that's why they use carbon dioxide to fight fires in some fire extinguisher, and why people with copd have problems with breathing and getting the oxygen u need the carbon is in retention ,

2 small palm fulls of cashews equal 1 prozac and no side effects unless you have a nut allergy! Works great! Also Calm or any magnesium powdered mix ! I use magnesium plus by PUR products, recommended by my dr, and I drink a little scoopfull in 4 to 8 oz of water mid afternoon so I can relax and sleep! Many calming teas for drinking before bed! She had me remove sugar from my diet and use only stevia , raw unfilteredhiney or coconut sugar! These all effect your sleep and congestion! In 2011 when they was diagnosed she had me start taking l-arginine, 2 times a day! If chemtrails or forest fire smoke interferes with my breathing I can take up to 6 per day! It is a mineral and is used by many with cops , asthma and originally became popular with Olympic competitors in swimming racing or bicycling events! It enables your body to produce more oxygen! I was on oxygen 24/7 in 2011 but now only use at night unless I have allergy or cold symptoms! Google this ! It is a miracle! Much more you can do as far as cleaning chemicals and candles etc to purify your air! Good luck to you! I have a osteopathic doctor and much better than my old md! I do not use any pharmaceutical oils or atomizers ! I do have a atomizer for emergency but have only used 2 times since 2011! Lots of info on Google and then check with your doctor! MD's don't believe in anything except l-arginine! They all know about it and most use it themselves!
