DR's advise to keep o2 levels at 92%. If you are not on oxygen it won't hurt to getcpac for when you sleep

I'm really uncomfortable any time I get below 92-93. That's just me though . Everyone has their own limits.

The lower limit is 88%. Most aim for 88-92%. Anything less than this and your organs are damaged because of the low oxygen level.

Spo2 reading

For a regular healthy person, the normal blood oxygen saturation level (SpO2) should be around 94% to 99%. For patients with mild respiratory diseases, the SpO2 should be 90% or above. Supplementary oxygen should be used if SpO2 level falls below 90%, which is unacceptable for a prolonged period of time. they have in expensive spo2 meters you can check it with.

Thanks. I really dont do any strenuous exercise other than stretches and hand weights to strengthen my arms. I also use a treadmill about 30 minutes 2 maybe 3 x's a week. Is this type of exercise dangerous for people with copd or other lung diseases.

Talk to your health care provider first

Always check with your health care provider before starting an exercise program. Your health care provider can help you find a program that matches your level of fitness and physical condition.

Here are some questions to ask:

How much exercise can I do each day?

How often can I exercise each week?

What type of exercise should I do?

What type of activities should I avoid?

Should I take my medicine at a certain time around my exercise schedule?

Not what you're looking for?
