hi All - so I got my colonoscopy done and Dr said three polyps - sessile serrated - and come back in 5 yrs- and have been sent away for histology ….
Between 5-9mm
my hysto is booked today and that’s for my endometriosis etc.
The bowel Dr last week told me he will let me know at my hysto what results were (as he will be there too for endo possibly on bowel) - and he hasn’t called me last two days - and my admission to hospital is all going as planned. ….
I keep telling myself if he had found something the surgery today would be in hold
Or delayed ……
I thought u would feel a bit better after my colonoscopy but I don’t knkw
my health anxiety is awful

hi there glad to hear you’ve got this part over with! Mine took 7 days to get results back although one polyp was cancer out of five taken, within 3 weeks of colonoscopy I had surgery to remove the remaining tissue, 18 months on I in good health and have 3 months check up, so all the very best for your surgery and hope to hear your progress 👌👌
Hi, that sounds positive, it's good to get some immediate feedback and see what is going on, I thought my bowel looked pretty good on Monday, I had a small polyp and a villous adenoma removed. 3 weeks for my results. It does feel like jumping hurdles at the moment, sometimes they are close together and sometimes far apart. I was always better on the flat, and don't like jumping! Distraction is the only thing that works, otherwise it's always nagging away. But, I know that's part of me, it's not a bad thing. And all the reading and prep made my colonoscopy go well. I even recognised the polyp and adenoma before the Doctor said what he was seeing and removing. Oddly it was apart on the back moment. Knowledge is a good thing.Hope the rest of your care goes well.
