Bloody or Brown Mucus on Stools

My symptoms started with having food poisoning that lasted 5 days going 3 times a day with no diarrhea. Then about 2 days later I noticed brown mucus in the toilet and no stool. At the time I had no clue what that was until I googled it. About a week later I noticed the mucus went from brown to bloody scattered around my stools. 4 months later I still have this problem and waiting another week to finally get in to see my doctor.

I also did go to a walk in doctor and had blood work done and my Neutrophils were high and Lymphs were low.

Has anybody else had something like this? If so could you explain your story and what it was.

I was also on antibiotics the month before all this, so it may have played a role.

I didn’t have this but I know antibiotics can damage your gut bio. I take probiotic pills after antibiotics to get things back in order.

Thanks for posting. I have not experienced this, but definitely worth getting checked out. You need a FIT test to know definitively if there is blood in the stool. From there, you need to know exactly the cause if the FIT is positive.👍
