Stool sample was mild inflammation likely ibs they said.
Yesterday I had a latte bad idea and then egg on toast and a hour so later I had the poops. First normal firm ones to milkshake 😂 I am tender today and my left side hurts i usually find my left side hurts after I have a bout which is rare I’m usually constipated so have orangey mucus sometimes.
I went to the toilet today and farted and when I wiped it was clear mucus with streaks of blood. Which panicked me! I do have internal haemorrhoid so wasn’t sure if it’s that. My question is shall I leave it and see if it happens again before booking in with doctor? Usually tells me to wait 3 weeks and if it continues to go back as I suffer wiht anxiety and was there all time 🤣

Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. When you were diagnosed with IBS, were you put on a treatment regimen that may be causing the symptoms you are seeing? Probably not. But maybe there's something contributing?
So, the other day you had a latte and egg on toast and your body went ahead and told you that you shouldn't have done that😁. My body does the same thing to me. If I eat something out of the ordinary or too much of a certain thing, my body may tell me that I shouldn't have done that. That is a part of my new normal.
Part of your normal is you already know you have internal hemorrhoids. Is it just the first time you've seen blood after wiping? Because if this is something that is completely new and out of the ordinary for what you normally experience, it may be something to get checked out. 🤔
I would think that you have had other symptoms and had them checked out by this doctor. I say that because you said, “Usually tells me to wait 3 weeks” and I take that to indicate you've been seeing this doctor for a while and there's some kind of healthcare history going on. But I will tell you this, if you feel strongly about your symptoms that you are experiencing and want to get this checked out there is no harm in going to a different doctor. It never hurts to get a second opinion. Doing this may also help you avoid the anxiety.
I do wish you the very best in finding out what's going on. I am proud of you as you are taking your healthcare very seriously and wanting to get everything checked out❤️. There is definitely no harm in doing that and it can be very beneficial when you're proactive. And please do let us know what you find out. It is that kind of information that can be helpful to others on this site as well.
Thank you,

I am in the uk so we can’t ask for this and that they only send you for scans if they warrant it.
So I have health anxiety so I went to doctor a lot which is why told me if jts there in 3 weeks come back. I’ve wiped blood before but never had it with mucus which is what scared me but like I say I had upset stomach day before and still tender from it.
also never had a colonoscopy but had ultrasound and ct scan and showed my bowel lining to be normal and nodes around the bowel normal I had those scans for something else and that was almost noted in results
Ahhhh, got it. Maybe things will settle down for you. I wouldn't think it would take 3 weeks to figure things out. If you get back to normal eating and eliminating those things you know your stomach doesn't like; if things are going to clear up, I would think it would do it rather quickly. If you do those things and your symptoms escalate then I would definitely let your doctor know. If they go away, that's great. You will be the best judge as to the direction this is going to take.
How long ago was it that you had the ultrasound and CT scan? It's great that things look normal after those tests. Another thing to look at would be if there's a family history of certain medical conditions. That may require keeping a closer eye on things as well.
