Bloody mucus and blood in poo

I have had red bright blood after wiping but a severe amount and also blood in poo twice this week and bloody mucus. Quite worried.

Morning Kerry the first thing you need to do is make an appointment to see your doctor and tell them what’s going on . They will look after you and reassure you that just because there is blood in your poo and you have been noticing mucus it does not mean you have cancer there could be a number of other conditions so to put yourself at ease and worrying unnecessarily make an appointment with your doctor and good luck.

Hello Kerry I know but stop worrying unnecessarily and make the appointment with your doctor you will feel better once you speak with them.

Hi Kerry. Please try not to worry. Easier said than done. Get to your doctor. I've had the same. Went to the doctor. They reffered me on the two week pathway. I thought the worst. Had Colonoscopy today. Colitis.

Get on the phone on Monday and get an appointment. Take photos to show your gp. That's why I did. Best of luck.
