blood and tissue in stools

hello I’ve just joined this site I am waiting for a CT scan on my bowels having problems and worried sorry for the picture it’s very graphic any idea what it looks like ?

Thanks for posting with us. It’s tough to try to diagnose from a picture. I see you are waiting on a CT scan to happen. What were the symptoms leading up to the CT scan? I would think a FIT test would have been scheduled and then a colonoscopy. As a part of my surveillance, I get an annual colonoscopy and an annual CT scan. Both have their capabilities, but one cannot replace the other. Believe me I’ve asked if I could just get the CT scan, but the CT cannot see the details within the colon that only the colonoscopy can see. Are you having abdominal pain?

I do wish you the best and hope you get on a path of being well soon. Please let us know what you find out from the CT scan as it is that type of information that can be helpful to others on this site as well.
