Blood in my stool
Hi Gabomo055,
Thanks for posting with us. I hate that you’re experiencing this but I’m glad that you’re not ignoring it. Any time there is blood in the stool there needs to be an answer for it. A lot of different things could be causing this. I think it would be a good idea to get it checked out by your doctor. It’s always good to have answers instead of having to speculate about what could be happening. You could get an exam by your doctor and if the cause isn’t evident from that, you’ll probably need to get a colonoscopy. As for me, I get an annual colonoscopy just to keep an eye on me. I’m very glad to see that you’re not ignoring these symptoms. Catching whatever is the cause early is key. Are you experiencing any other symptoms?
You are young and that’s definitely a positive on your side. That’s very important. I wouldn’t be scared, just get it checked out so you don’t have to speculate. Another thing to think about is if there are any hereditary medical issues within your family. Has anyone in your family had experience with this before? That would be good information for your doctor to know as well.
I do wish you the best in getting some answers. We need to get you on the path to being well as soon as possible so your boys won’t have to worry about their dad. I think you’re well on your way to doing that. Just get it checked out and get answers. Also, please let us know what you find out. It’s that type of information that can be helped to others on this side as well.
Thank you,

Why not go directly to a colonoscopy and find out whether there is any issue relating to the blood once a while as u mentioned
