Started with oral thrush. Well it was everywhere for 2 mths. Or longer. Then noticed stool didn't look right. Weight lost nausea. Just waves of I don't feel good. Can't make Plans or commitments because of that. So stool culture showed intermittent shedding. Colonoscopy and endoscopy came back ok. I've had ins and diverticulitis. For years. Why can't I get any answers. Arg. Her is a few pictures its been 4 or 5 months like this.now...

Hi Pauz38,
Thank you for posting in Colon Cancer Connected. I'm very sorry to hear about your mother. That is never easy and easy time. And now you're having to deal with your health issues that you're not getting the answers you're looking for.
You had an endoscopy and colonoscopy and those came back clear. That's good and definitely puts some issues at ease. It's strange to me that further tests and diagnosis are not being performed to find the causes for this issue. If possible, I would definitely venture out to get a 2nd opinion on the issues. You definitely have some signs that should be able to be addressed. And if it's been consistent for 4-5 months, that should trigger further testing.
It could be a thyroid problem or diet issue. Have you tried changing your diet and then are still seeing things unchanged? I have diarrhea issues and take some meds for it, but I also find sometimes introducing different foods may not go well.
Maybe some others on this site have some suggestions. But I would hope you can get some further testing to narrow down the issues for you. The endoscopy & colonoscopy are good, but you do have something else going on.
We wish you the best in finding out more answers. Hopefully it is something you can share with every one here.

Hello . Thank you so much for your time.. I did get a call today. From gi nurse. .the dr said my stools look normal. But he wld order me a stool culture. ..I just don't get it. If my stools look normal to the dr.. then why don't it look normal to me..from the looks.of it. It dint luck normal ...the stool text i took a few ago. Came back (intermittent Sheehan. And the could get to the bottomof test because of it.
Yeah. That's a whole new definition of "normal" in my book also. My normal is something that is formed and not loose. It looks like they did a culture before, but maybe this new culture will lead to a better direction. I do take some meds for my issues and "normal" comes and goes for me.
