POOPING WITH BLOOD OVER A YEAR

Hello everyone, This is my first time posting here, My mom has has been suffering with bloods/clots in her poop for over a year, she has external hemorrhoids but still the doctor recommended her to do colonoscopy to know where the blood really came, after a year of suffering with it she'll finally gonna do colonoscopy this month, I'm really scared for her and I've been so stressed and crying all day. she sometimes poop only blood and no stool included :((( she's too young she's only 45. anyone have the same symptoms????

Hi I have this I’ve had my colonoscopy which wasn’t so drastic couldn’t find anything but did take biopsy’s will get my results next week. It’s good that your mum is having a colonoscopy, why has she waited so long? try not to worry

Hi honey i hope your biopsy result will be a good news (i mean it), do you have hemorroids????

my mom didn't get colonoscopy as she was recommended to have one right away because it was expensive and her bloody poop goes on and off and she just thought of it as just hemorroids but it has been a year and a half and she still has bloody clots on her poop. I know that she's really worried about her condition and she doesn't want us to worry about it it's driving me crazy i would cry all day thinking about she has cancer :((((

I haven’t been diagnosed with anything yet, I don’t have any pain or loosing weight, if they find hemorriods (can’t spell it) they can deal with them when having the colonoscopy, good luck with it all

she said she's not having symptoms for months now, maybe it was a flare up when the symptoms showed, how are you feeling?

Okay I see. I am getting very nervous as I am having the colonoscopy on wed ;( my bleeding was also on and off but it’s getting worse these 2 years so doctor sent me for colonoscopy. I hope all goes well with your mom too - I saw all your posts and you have been a great daughter

I had something similar but it only lasted just 2 months. Turned out to be ulcerative proctitis. There are suppositories that can help with that.
