Thank you for posting on Colon Cancer Connected. I hate to hear you have all these symptoms going on. It looks like you are saying that these symptoms are being experienced for the past four months. Because six months ago you had kidney stones diagnosed and a couple of months after that you started experiencing these other items. I would hope you have already scheduled an appointment with your GP. I would definitely recommend you bring this list so you don’t forget to cover everything.
You do have some symptoms that definitely need an answer. Please know that what you are experiencing could be caused by many different things. Also, anytime there is blood in the stool it needs to be diagnosed as to the reason. It is best to get them checked out and know exactly what you’re dealing with. Until you do that it’s all speculation. So we need to narrow things down so we can get focused.
Another thing to think about is if there is a hereditary aspect to any medical issues in your family. This is good information for your GP to know. It may prove helpful and guide further testing that may be necessary.
We do wish you the very best in finding out what’s going on and getting some good answers for what you’re experiencing. Please let us know what you find out as it is this type of information that can prove helpful to others on this site.
Thank you,
~Tom, GCCA Survivor - Colon Cancer Connected Site Administrator.

hi any updates? I have all of the same symptoms. Booked to see Gastro specialist on 26th July. Couldn’t see him any earlier and we will go from there. So so scared
hi, im so sorry you had to experience all those. turns out i have erosive gastritis and mixed hemorrhoids. Based on these symptoms, it could really be anything. Google is really not helping. It will just increase your anxiety. Please know that it's normal to get scared but there is always support. I hope yours is nothing serious, too. Please update us anytime.
thanks for your reply! I’m hoping for something similar - benign and not so serious! Fingers crossed for myself. I guess I won’t know for another few weeks. I will update this thread when I have answer. Hopefully nothing serious
it had been the same for me before my colonoscopy. Please talk to someone you're comfortable talking with. Keep yourself busy and distracted. Have some time to enjoy and relax. These things helped me before my proceudre.
do you also have blood in your stool? I have blood in my stool and pressure in my rectum that comes and goes. I have a colonoscopy in two weeks and my mind is thinking the worst. The anxiety is debilitating. Have you had any test done to determine what yours is from?
im so sorry for the late response. It must have been very concerning for you, given that you have the anxiety of waiting together with the symptoms. I thought ive had blood in my stool before but it was really just from the dragon fruit i ate. I was diagnosed to have erosive gastritis and mixed hemorrhoids. One thing i can advise is that do not ever trust google because it is not a doctor nor a diagnostic test. Keep yourself busy and distracted. Talk to someone about your feelings and if it helps, meditate and pray. I hope you feel better and i hope you get the answers you deserve.
I think Google is what has made me so anxious. I type in my symptoms and it’s always the worst case of the big C. The anxiety over it has been debilitating. Thank you for responding to me. I’m trying not to think the worst. I have two kids I want to watch grow up
let's take it one step at a time. You can always reach out to this group for support. It always helps if you talk and keep yourself busy. Just keep us updated.
