Hello everyone, I'm 19 years old and I'm concerned about colon cancer. As far as I recall, I had diarrhea for only a day in the first week of October and noticed that the color of my poop was green, so I ignored it because I assumed I ate something that upset my stomach, but I didn't have any stomach pain. After a few days, I've noticed that I haven't had any bowel movements for about 3 days, and when I finally do, I feel a pressure in my anus, as if I always have to go, and the color of my stool changes, for example, today I'll have a normal brown poop, then the next day I'll have green poop, but it's not diarrhea because it looks normal but it floats in the toilet. I've had three green bowel movements this week, one normal brown the day before and a yellow one today, and I'm freaking out. I also remembered that I've been having to push myself to go for the past few weeks, but it's getting better now that my stool is just the right amount and I poop every day, but it's still bothering me because it usually floats and is a green color. Has anyone else experienced this? I really need to talk to someone because I'm having trouble concentrating on my studies and can't seem to get it out of my head. I told my mother about it, but she did nothing. If we had the money, I would go to the doctor, but we are poor and can't afford it right now. Also, before I forget, I'm taking propan with iron vitamins, which I started in August. I'm not sure whether they're related, so if someone can give insight on this, it would be highly appreciated.
