Hi, accordingly to meta-studies, stool shape or smell, as well as systemic signs are not a tell-tale signs of cancer. However as an UC sufferer, any change in your condition you should consult with specialist in order to have your disease under control.

Hey SuHMK,

So have you always had night sweat? Also have you checked yor tempeture when this happens at nght? You might wanna do that to rule out any possible fever.

If you are having high calprotectin in your fecal matter, then that is indicative of possible mucus and or inlammation in your colon. have you had a colonoscopy to see what is causing that yet? It can be allergic reactions to certain foods, or it can also be an IBD.
