colon issues

after 2 years and 8 different specialists the gastroentologist thinks its my colon that has made me so sick. I had to have a virtual ct colonoscopy and it was terrible. diagnostic place gave me no muscle relaxants before hand as I was told they were supposed to. my bowel is slow moving and I hadn't totally emptied and told them that but they insisted to do it anyway and when the air went in I messed all over the table and my gown. I told them not to use to much air as I cant handle the pain it causes in my stomach but they didn't listen and the trainee put way to much air in and I was in so much pain they had to take the tube out. I was in severe pain for half hour on the table while I waited for the emergency room dr to ct my stomach after what felt like an explosion in my stomach after the balloon pushed to much air in my small colon. once the stomach ct was done and they discovered what they did they saw that there was more than sufficient air already and decided to flip me around to do the colon ct afterall. terrible experience they should still sedate for this one also. so that was on Monday and im still crapping yellow liquid from the prep. everything I eat goes right out. so now how long will this carry on. they seriously need to find better ways to look at our insides.

I had a colonoscopy over here in England recently. As a matter of course, they don’t sedate you here.I had one toot on gas and air,and away they went!

I'm so sorry you experienced that! That sounds awful. Thinking of you and hope you have found some relief.
