Chemo brain research shows promise of finding answers - and some help

While this article is not specific to CLL, many of us do experience what is colloquially termed "Chemo Brain" after chemotherapy, a reduced ability to remember and reason. The article covers some promising research that could explain why this distressing symptom may occur and which will hopefully lead to measures to at least reduce its incidence and severity.

Some of the reported research includes long term studies into children given chemotherapy for ALL and in the animal studies, one of the chemo drugs that was found to adversely affect rodents was cyclophosphamide, the "C" in FCR.
