Hi all, I opted to go to a large vaccine centre which I booked online and went yesterday. Just before I left I had a text from my surgery saying I had a slot on Saturday! Bath Race course was extremely well organised, clean and friendly. I am 52, fit and well and on W&W but I just had a really horrible night with chills -could not get warm at all despite all my layers on and painful joints all over my body including my spine. I took paracetamol as soon as I had the jab (5.30pm)and four hours later but took more in the night and Ibuprofen in between. Feeling really weak today but much better. As someone already said on here, never felt so glad to feel rubbish! Mixed feeling about my reactions to the second jab in April....... good luck everyone and I am sure not all will feel bad afterwards.

Thanks for the warning, hope you are feeling more comfortable and warm. I wondered which vaccine did you have?
Glad you are through that. My chills and aches only lasted 3 hours on the day AFTER the shot and then that night went to the bathroom hourly! But I feel fine this morning. Will be glad when the 2nd shot is past for all of us. I had Moderna. Sandra😊
