CLL Support - the next webinar is on Tuesday 1st September at 1.00 pm

This promises to be a fascinating webinar, with interesting key speakers:

Dr Satarupa Choudhuri is Consultant Haematologist at the Royal Oldham Hospital. She is also clinical advisor to pharmaceutical companies on treatments and new drug development. She is Regional Education lead for the British Society of Haematologists for the North of England and Teenage and young adult cancer lead, Manchester Cancer Board.

Dr. Chaudhuri will be discussing the current management of CLL in a District General Hospital setting, and the key considerations that influence clinical decision-making and treatment choices for patients in those Hospitals.

As we prepare to ease out of lock-down we will also have a CLL patient’s experience during Covid-19, and Marc Auckland will give an update on the current work of CLL Support.

The Webinar will start promptly at 13:00, and we will open access from 12:45 to give people time to join. The Webinar will close by 14:30, allowing time for questions with Dr. Choudhuri

Just one question and apologies for my ignorance here, if I go the Facebook route how do I connect to the Webinar please. (I have joined the CLL Support Facebook group a few weeks ago).

For previous webinars I've done the non Facebook route.

Hi Ernest,

You just have to open Facebook and click on the CLL Support FB page when the webinar is on and you will see the live video of it there.

For other people, they do not need to join the CLL Support FB group, it's available for anyone to view it.
