Andrew Schorr will be joining us at the Cambridge meeting June 21st as a guest speaker and partner. Outside the meeting Andrew will also be video interviewing experts, patient advocates and partners to produce educational material for the on-line community.

Without doubt meeting others with CLL and learning together has helped me with my own CLL journey , just spending time with others who do understand made the greatest difference.

Please join us, Cambridge in June is one of the UK's jewels in the crown. a great setting to meet with fellow CLLers from all areas; UK and overseas.

Just remember to register as CLLSA cllsupport.org.uk/php_files... ahead of securing your free place.by email with Sarah at: trustees.pa@cllsupport.org.uk

You can also leave a message by telephone to secure a place at the meeting if you are already a CLLSA member on 0800 977 4396

Looking forward to meeting up with on-line friends and sharing time together

Nick

Nick, I sent an email asking for a place but had no acknowledgement, is this the norm or has my email gone astray?

Hi Pitbull

This could be the norm? as currently acknowledgements have to be manually actioned by admin, this may not have happened. We are presently implementing automated systems within the new website being designed for CLLSA for future,

Could you drop a line to membership@cllsupport.org.uk or PM me with your email address and I will look into this for you,

Understand your concern as the website confirms meeting now full. If your registration has gone astray don't stress we are working to expand numbers

For those who have not registered we are keeping a waiting list,

Please contact Sarah at trustees.pa@cllsupport.org.uk to be put onto this waiting list.

Hi, I applied for a place at the conference some time ago, but there were none left, although I'm on the waiting list. Will there be reports/papers from the conference posted on here so that those of us who couldn't make it can benefit? Must book earlier next time!

Nick, Exciting. Remember that ASH will be in early December, so it would make sense to meet after due to the updated news. Please let me know how I can help from California. Stay strong. Brian

Brian It would be great if you can join us in Glasgow or London in December ?? Galsgow is now in set up for September, the date has changed it is no longer the 30th , will confirm new date and update.

This year's December meeting is planned for Brentford London on December 16th (after Ash when Dr Claire Dearden Head of the CLL Unit at The Royal Marsden will be supporting the event and able to provide latest updates she brings back from ASH, , if you can't make Glasgow we'd love to join us in London?

Really looking forward to meeting up with everyone this weekend at Cambridge . There will be quite a gathering, with members, guests and partners from across Europe and all parts of the UK coming together over the weekend. For a European CLL development workshop on the Friday and the Saturday members meeting.

Talks and interviews will be recorded on video for sharing with those unable to attend.

There will be a lot of great information provided by inspiring patients and carers, research projects, latest initiatives, Dr George Follows and Cambridge Universities, also latest updates from this weekends EHA conference in Milan, and a video presentation with messages from Drs, Hillman, Gribben and Saull at Milan .

Looking forward to hooking up with everyone

Best

Nick. Sounds brilliant. I recommended some CLL friends from Ireland and Spain to attend. I will see if I can swing Glasgow or London. It will depend on my finances and my treatment and my lecture schedule. I would love to share what I have learned about self advocacy as I have done for CLLPAG and LLS in the USA and Canada. Stay strong. Brian
