Lumps

I have lymphoma and am on imbruvica for 13 months..I now have found 2 lumps one in my breast the other below...having a mammagram and ultrasound on Dec 7th..keeping positive that the lumps are benign...there is always something when you have cancer....horrible disease...Thanks.

Try to not let your mind race. They could be cysts, or maybe you are fighting some bug that has kicked a couple of lymph nodes into gear. Many CLL patients have scares about possible breast cancer because of lymph nodes, and many women deal with cysts. When I did, my doctor drained them so that they couldn't hide something else in the future. It's good that your doctor is being thorough.

Yes there is always something with cancer but the good news is we are more aware of our body and hopefully can be treated. when was your last mammogram? Do the lumps hurt? any dimpling? Redness?

I had a small lump removed in July 2017...it was cancer..then I was put on imbruvica and have had no lumps since this one popped up on my birthday....I have had lymphomas for over 2 years so am lucky to still be alive..time will tell..I will deal with it.

Yes our disease keeps us on edge. No doubt about it. But hopefully it won’t be anything too serious. Please keep us posted. I’ll be thinking of you.

Last year I found lumps on my breast too and had a mammogram done. In the end it wasn’t anything serious.

Like several other people here I had a lumpectomy, which turned out to be benign. The waiting is stressful.
