Weird in pictures

I just want to be beautiful and noticed it consumes my mind i feel beutiful 8n the mirror but when i look at pictures i look so weird does anyone else feel this way

Hi, you are not alone. Even for people without a visible difference, this is a very normal response. It's because you're used to seeing yourself in the mirror, with everything reversed. No one else sees you that way. A photo shows how you appear to everyone else. When I was a photographer I would tell people to hold the print up to the light and look at it from behind. It's much easier now because you can just flip the image on your phone or device. Try that and maybe you'll like more of your photos, because it'll be how you look in the mirror. Just be aware that it'll look strange to everyone else because they don't see you that way. Kind of a catch 22 but if the pic is only for you, they won't see it anyway. I hope that helps.

I forgot to add that you can also hold your phone up to a mirror and look at the pic in the mirror. I do that all the time.

I can empathise with your feeling that the reflection that you see doesn’t match the picture that you have of yourself;I think this perception is common to most of us. However, as I have got older I now realise that true beauty is inside & actually it’s more important to believe in yourself, with confidence that you are truly beautiful, no matter how you feel about your outer looks. You are special & unique; always know that this is what matters & you will start to love the way you look when you see your face as others do.

Your not ugly, also the selfie phone camera distorts people's faces because of the lense, look it up on google. The way to take a less distorted picture is to take it of you in the mirror with the front phone camera x

I think most people feel that they look weird in photos, you are deffo not alone with that thought. I know some people are very confident about how they look in photos.. it just doesnt work like that for us all.
