Someone I know was diagnosed with fatty liver disease many years ago but has continued drinking above recommended limits. For years his blood tests showed raised liver enzymes, but the most recent results have come back normal. Is it possible for FLD to cure itself if the person continues to drink?

The Liver can recover if it is still in a recoverable state, BUT that would mean no alcohol and a good diet/exercise regime, cannot see how diagnosed with NASH and carry on with drinking alcohol have normal blood counts!!!
