Highly fatty liver and significantly scarred liver

Hi had a fibroscan early Dec as my LFTs were very high.got a letter before christmas to say my liver is highly fatty and significantly scarred.told I getting referred to gastroenterology but as yet no letter saying I on waiting list.wondering how long people waiting to get seen I'm in scotland and looked it up urgent is 40 weeks,routine is 53 weeks.having dark urine,headaches and very tired.i also have a rare bowel cancer which I've just had an operation on.dont know what I should and shouldn't do regarding diet or pain killers.been very low in my mood.apparently had fatty liver since 2017 but no one said.only came to light when I was in for cancer surgery.
