Try the comparison sites.Check both single trip and yearly cover.
European cover might be possible and make sure you apply for a European health card (free from NHS).
You won't get usa, cruise or world cover.
Any cover is difficult and expensive untill you have at least 12 months clear of any banding.
Thankyou, that’s what it’s says a year clear of banding, I have tried loads but everyone says they won’t cover me, I only want to go to Egypt but don’t think that’s classed as European so am probably best looking closer to home for a holiday
Egypt is Africa.
If your after history look at Italy.
Venice for 3 days train to Rome for 4 days train to Naples for 5 days to see Pompei, Herculanium, the Amalfi coast and a day trip to Capri.
European health card covers emergency treatment so insurance sees the risk as much lower.
If your after sun look at Canary islands or Malta.

I struggled to get holiday insurance too.
Eventually got the right cover with Staysure £ 670 for a year of European cover no problem .
I’m booked on a short cruise in 3 weeks time .
Following a further phone call to Staysure added cruise cover for £80 which will run concurrently for the year .
Good luck
Fran
Hi Kingbilly3 if you go on the British Liver Trust website they will show you a list of insurance companies that offer medical insurance, I have liver transplant, ileostomy bag, bowens disease and arthritis and got a year multi trip cover from Aviva this time, last time All Clear. So shop around of the list, good luck 👍.
