Endoscopy Experience

Morning,

I posted earlier about fretting regarding an upcoming endoscopy and had so many replies that I was quite put at ease and intended to have sedation.

However, on the day, I elected to go with the throat spray as I was told that I could stop and have sedation at any time. I managed to get through it, with a LOT of heaving and burping, only to be told that I still had food in my stomach 18 hours after my last meal and would need to have another one.😒 The good news was that the parts she could see were fine. I think possible sedation next time though.

So it seems that my pain is confined to my gallbladder problems and my liver.

I've had two fibroscans, the latest of which showed 13.9 and 363 and was told it was F4. I went for blood tests in March/April of this year. Since then I've heard nothing.

My question is - would you advise to wait until I see the gallbladder consultant re the endoscopy as I think they are trying to get everything gastro and bariatric together under one clinic, or should I chase the liver consultant separately? And how would I chase it?
