Liver issues and leg pain?

Fairly random question but while I wait for a drs appointment I thought I'd ask....I am awaiting a liver transplant for PSC and I'm getting those dulcit aches in my side that usually indicate imminent cholangitis, but! Whenever this happens I get really bad sharp aching down the outside of my upper leg and shin from knee to ankle. Has anyone ever had anything similar? I've also had shoulder tip pain come and go which I know is more closely associated, but in the leg?

I'd love to hear of anyone else's experiences.

Bad sharp aching on the outside of the upper leg and lower leg may indicate a pinched nerve of the fifth lumbar vertebra as a result of an intervertebral hernia, inflammation, muscle spasm.
