I’m sure this has been discussed many times but couldn’t find anything as it relates to the liver. So I will ask.

Any recommendations on probiotics and which ones work best with liver disease?

Thank you!

I do know it is best to take them on an empty stomach, approximately the same time every day.

I take mine (cold pressed juice ones) right when I wake up, then lemon water, then coffee, more water, breakfast.

Probably none!

Probiotics are thought to supplement gut bacteria (good flora).

More like they supplement the pharma company's massive income!

If they crossed from the gut to the blood stream so they could be transported to the liver they would cause all sorts of serious infections!

All Probiotics are only temporary residents and are pooped out within 48 hours, they don't multiply and very little survives the stomach acid.

Nature's great, there's already around 4 pounds in weight of gut flora inside each of us so those tiny pills are not going to add much!

One other thing.

Instead of calling them probiotics call them untested medication, that's exactly what they are.
