Hi all.
I am a 42 year old female. For 6 years I've had ALT rise then go back to normal and on and on. ALP always normal. AST always normal.
Since a year ago my ALT has been hovering at 91. My GGT is 148 and AST is 40. Normal ALP.
Always told its NASH. Fibroscan 2018 7.4 2019 6.2 and 2020 5.2.
I was positive for Alfa 1 antitrypsin but I'm a PiM so normal.
All other automakers markers negative or normal.
Having biopsy on liver on Wednesday. Drs are now very confused as year on year my fibroscan as hot better and now normal. But my LFTs are always high.
Anyone been through this? Is it odd that ALP is always normal?
I am thinking autoimmune hepatitis as I have a very rare autoimmune inflammatory condition called SAPHO syndrome.
Any help appreciated as my Drs are very confused. Me too
