Blocked bile ducts

Is it possible to have blocked bile ducts with no symptoms ?

Just had my telephone consultation but not with my usual consultant. I have been sent for blood tests every week for the last three weeks because they were convinced I had a flare up of CMV only for them to show positive for EBV. One minute my LFTs were raised then near normal and now they are raised again. He fired the usual questions have I had itching, fever etc. When was your last MRI so because it was before transplant he is booking me in for an urgent scan because he thinks my bile ducts may be blocked. If I cant get one soon with coronavirus going on I might be back on steroids .........no I'm fat enough thank you very much.

I feel fine apart from constant headaches which they had hoped that reducing my Adoport would sort out.

Afraid so. My hubby went to clinic around 1 year post transplant all seemed normal. Got call a couple of weeks later

Asking him to go back. Told blocked bile duct and needed to be dealt with asap. Spent next year in and out having stents fitted to stretch it. No recurrence now 7years on since.

Good luck
