Hi all - I’m new to this forum so go easy on me! 😉
Last night I was suffering from, what felt like, a trapped gall stone. I have had one before where my gall bladder was removed and a stone removed from duct prior to that. Is this possible?
Nauseous then throwing up yellow bile; Diarrhea; slight fever; dizzy and weak - it was awful. Not been eating much for a while. Saw doc last Friday who gave me Loperimide and said I needed counselling- I do, but not for this!
Suggestions anyone?

Yes, it is possible to have gallstones left over after the gallbladder is removed. These can then become stuck and block the bile ducts. This is presently my wife's problem. Gallstone may show up on a fibroscan. If these are discovered, than a MRI maybe required.

Sorry please clarify show up on a Fibro, do you mean Ultrasound? 🤔
Yes it’s possible. When I had my gallbladder removed in July because of acute gallstone pancreatitis, my surgeon said that sometimes a stone can spill out during the surgery and cause problems later. I asked how that would be taken care of and he said my Gastroenterolgist would remove it by performing an EGD scope procedure via the throat like I’ve had for Barrett’s Esophagus.
