you certainly been through it it girl, and yes I relate to all that, it does settle down. I've been sober 3 years too (we should both be proud of that) In bed you could try a cold pad that you get for dogs, that should help on a night. I'm surprised you havent mention been on water tablets for the swelling. I also take senna every night. It does get better honest
Thanks for reply if only you new the rest me life ain't that good at min well always thanks a lot NHS is shit where I live
Hi Faithfull,
Sorry to hear things aren't going well for you. I do wish I knew of something that could ease the itching. Senna has worked for my husband, in the past, and so has Miralax.
I hope things get better. We are doing fairly well. My husband seems to be getting more strength and is up and about doing yard work and doesn't seem to get tired as quickly and he is doing exercises to help his back pain. Thank you for asking.
Alpha Lipoic Acid. Capsules. I buy mine at a health food store. I take them everyday- great results. I can not say enough about A.L.A. ** Limit,"quit" salt/sodium. I try to keep it undder 900 mg. A day. Take care, it gets better if you try.
