My Ggt Level???
High GGT is not isolated to only liver disease, can you not see a GP or at least speak to one to see what is being done/proposed to be done to follow up your result. Did you mean to say 18th July? - surely you don't have to wait a further year to get some feedback.
Push for answers from your doctors, as a non drinker there can still be liver related issues - what is your overall state of health like - i.e. weight ok, exercise enough, good diet? One of the most common liver complaints that we are seeing now is non alcohol related fatty liver disease which has surpassed alcohol as the leading cause of liver issues. You could see if there is anything there which strikes a bell. britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...
Other than that it may not be related to your liver at all and you will need to be guided by medics as to what happens next.
Hopefully you don't have too long to wait for your follow up appointment.

It sounds like NAFLD non alcoholic fatty liver disease. I was diagnosed with that at 38 and I’m now 52. I wasn’t overweight at that point and ate fairly healthily but my lipid profile - cholesterol, triglycerides and ggt were all sky high. I was put on a statin and a feno fibrate med and I get scanned regularly. Your Doctor will advise what is best. Diet and exercise helps. I assume they’ll send you for ultrasound too.
Do you remember what your triglycerides were at that point? 😂 sorry if I’m reaching I’m in a similar position with a reading of 1.7. Total cholesterol of 5. Doctor suspects NALFD but I don’t believe it? my diet is fairly average and I’d say I indulge as much as the next person… I just had an ultrasound and after it the guy said ‘all looks fine’.. Do you know if this would have been picked up?I'm just waiting on the report and Dr for further clarification
Hi, mine was due to ascites in the liver & another problem, non alcoholic, but I’m still confused, and that is b4 lockdown, but the hospital did call me, but they don’t know until a specialised blood test that’s only done in 2 hospitals in the U.K.
So yes it’s all confusing..... good luck ...
