I was awake just after 05.00 this morning, and having spent 2 days (so far) decorating, I was keen to go for a run, so why wait?!!
As I was trotting along admiring the misty fields and smelling the honeysuckle I found myself thinking of Vintage61 , and her post about not going fast enough if you can admire the view.
That got me thinking about dark mornings (I know, sorry!!) and how running is such a different experience depending on when and where you do it, it's not just a case of pounding the pavements. It's far more than that. It has taken me a few season changes to appreciate this aspect.
Today was a lovely run, physically a bit testing, as I have a decorating related thigh issue, but mentally quite joyful.
Everyone I saw seemed friendly, the man on the moped beeped and gave me a big thumbs up, 2 cyclists said "morning" and gave me room!!!
Today feels good.๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ๐คฉ
I hope it is a good one for all of you, now I have to get back to glossing ๐คฏ
