Another one in the bag! C25k revisited!

Im still on my comeback-C25k journey, after calf strains and illness, having recovered well but now stepping up my running again!

Today, C25k week 6 run 1, the one with running intervals of 5 minutes, 8 minutes, 5 minutes. Well, I somehow accidentally started running a full minute earlier, and missed out the last break, running continuously through the 8 min running intervals, the 3 min break and the last 5 min running interval.

So my recovery is going well. Now just hoping it continues!

Over the last 2 years, all my attempts in getting back to 10k were always interrupted.

So fingers crossed for this time around! But first, 5k is the next milestone. Then 10k.

Happy running!

🍏👏 Delighted your comeback is going incredibly well. Bodes well for moving onwards & upwards towards the elusive 10k It will definitely happen & I couldn’t think towards a nicer person! Xx

Awwhhhh , yes, elusive 10k! I reached it once. Second time I trained up I reached 9k before going back on the IC. Then 7k. And the last time, I was one run away from running a 10k! Elusive is a perfect word for it! 😂😂

Brilliant! Sounds like it’s going well. It will be no time before you’re knocking on the door of 5K!!

Great work CBDB 😊👍I really think we need to celebrate reaching all the Ks 😂😂. I remember when I first tried working up to 10k and absolutely loving 8k runs

Congratulations!! The milestones are stacking up!

I’m the same-training programmes always have complications along the way. I guess the bonus if it feels extra nice to get to the end. Here’s hoping it’s plain sailing for you this time!

Terrific run!

Just three more weeks for that C25K milestone and then you can consolidate and get ready for the 10K!
