Looking forward to a 5K recovery run at this race tonight. I don't usually run at night so I thought I would give this one a try. Plus there's bling...
I'm not putting on any pressure as I've still got a stopped up ear left over from my sinus infection. But I do want to challenge myself to start slow and not be carried away by the crowd at the start!
Aiming for the very back of the pack...

Good luck! Have you thought about posting about your events on Fun Beyond 10k andRace Support? They’re the absolute experts on bling over there! You’re welcome to share your fun anywhere you feel fits (we’re not strict about where people post) but I think I’d be doing the wonderful team over there a disservice by not pointing out the pom poms and cheer squad they provide!
Spot on as ever Miss U! Saturday Park runs enjoy a great host in Damienair here on Bridge to 10, so it makes sense to keep Saturday 5ks together, but we are happy to welcome anyone on Fun Beyond. We put up a post each month where anyone can register for a cheer on race days ( which usually occur on Sundays, but not always) 🙂
Fabulous! Well done and glad you are recovering. You were lucky with the weather being cool! I’m an early morning runner and running in the evening (as I do sometimes with running club) I find particularly challenging when it’s warm.
