W1R1 again

The good news is that the calf has healed. I'm three weeks into the Keto diet so I'm starting over.

When I started my W1R1 I was like "This is boring!"

After the fourth minute run, it suddenly seemed quite difficult.

I'm starting off easy this week, maybe one more "run".

No nature today, but urban concrete.

And we'll see what happens next!

Happy running! :-)

Really great to read that your calf has healed nicely. So now all you have to do is just take everything slow and steady until you become strong enough to run further. Following the C25K again will help.

Take care and good luck👍

Slow and steady and do remember to take some rest days... those calf muscles are not ready to be overworked... they need some TLC. More of the nature trail and less hard, unforgiving concrete too, where possible?

Great that you are back again after your injury. Take it nice and easy and listen to your body. Have you incorporated a nice stretching routine for before and after your runs?

I swear by the stretches...

Nice to see you’ve recovered! It’s hard coming back after injury-everything feels a bit creaky and unfamiliar. You’ll get there!

Are you still seeing your rehab doctor? Hopefully they’ve give you some helpful guidance on building back. Wishing you lots of luck. 🍀
