Boasting alert ⚠️ 10k PB totally smashed!!

What a running week. Got my HU10 🏅 and I've got PBs for 1k, 1 mile, 5k and 10k, how did that happen? I think I largely put it down to the training I put in to get back to the 10k distance for HU10. 3 runs a week: an intervals session, a 5k and a longer run (8 -10k). Plus I'm feeling really well once again and quite fit. All in all, without really realising, the pace of my runs has been increasing. So Sunday was unbelievable with 1k and 1 mile PBs, then today I'd decided to do 10k. I set off, and after 2k I could see I was running quite quickly for me. It felt fine though so I didn't put the brakes on. 5k in, is that a PB? I couldn't decifer my watch as I wasn't wearing my specs. And it still feels comfortable. 8k, wow, if this pace continues I'll totally smash the 10k PB. Now I won't lie, this was where it started to get harder. However, the intervals runs have shown me it is possible to push yourself and still be able to run through it. So that's what I did. It took a whole 5 minutes off my PB. I'd stopped chasing PBs and here they all are just landing in place. I'm flabbergasted and elated. Totally mind blowing. Boasting over now, sorry about that, but I'm so over the moon.
