VRB meet-up Southampton

Hello everyone. I am having a great time touring around Ireland at the moment doing some parkrun tourism. Last night I booked a trip to the Netherlands in July to get my Z for the alphabet challenge and next weekend I will be travelling to Shannon to get my I. I’ll just need a J and a Y after that. Another challenge I have to do is the Compass Challenge. I have my West at Westport parkrun and I got my East at Eastville parkrun where I met some VRB’s from here around 5 years ago and it was so great. I have booked another trip to get my South in Southampton on the 21st of September. I know it is a long way away yet, but if anyone is not too far away and interested in going to do the parkrun and meet up for post parkrun coffee and cake please let me know. Put it in your diary and I’ll remind you again closer to the date. I’ll be bringing my 15 year old Son with me for some father-son bonding, God help me 😁. Bye the way I think the Z in the Netherlands is also a South, but we won’t tell my Son.

Yes there is Northampton and a North close to Manchester that I know of. I’ll leave my North for a trip next year. I’m also trying to get 50 parkruns done this year. I’ll spend more time next year volunteering too.

I’m sure we will. I’m going to have to research other parkruns though, because we’re not starting our trip on the same day of the week 🤦🏼‍♀️

Not to worry, I’ll be planning another trip next year to do a parkrun starting with North so could find somewhere not too far from you and arrange another VRB meet up then.
