Hello everyone and HAPPY MAY to you all…phew, it’s been lovely here in Yorkshire today & yesterday, hopefully the weather is heading in the right direction & instead of feeling like ducks while we’re out running we will feel the sun on our cheeks…obvs not too hot!!!

If you’re here, reading this, hopefully the next step for you is to leave a reply requesting your new shiny badge for your EXCELLENT new achievement???? Well, let me be the first to congratulate you on this 🥳 and remind you just how far you’ve come!! I bet it doesn’t feel like 2 minutes since you were taking those first steps out of the door way, way back on your first run of your C25k journey and now here you are!!!

I hope you’ve had many lovely runs & have made some lovely memories along the way?

We are extremely proud of you and we want you to accept one of our shiny new badges so you can show it off to everyone!!!

Now for the most important and exciting part…

Claiming your badge has never been easier. Just reply below and tell me all about how you did it! That’s just because I’m excited to hear about your wonderful achievement ,how your run went and how you felt.

If your also thinking about where you should take your next step then look no further there that have are some great suggestions on this thread

If you’re even a little bit tempted to go beyond 10k, make sure you pop over to the Fun Beyond 10k forum. There really is a lot of fun to be had there! You’ll be made very welcome, It’s common for people who are running 10k to think about entering events and there’s loads of support (and pom poms!) available!!

Hi Mummycav

Please can I can claim my shiny new badge, amazingly I completed the HU20K, very pleased with myself.

Just need to keep up with it now, can see it being a bit more difficult with the (hopefully continuing) warmer weather.

Did treat myself to a pair of trail shoes last week, not tried them out yet! Just to make a change from running on the road/pavement.

Let's see what this week brings ............

10K result.

Hello MC, I'm happy to report that I have now completed my first 10k run, it wasn't intentional I only went out for a slow 5 or 6k jog but everything was just right and so I kept on going until I hit that magic number plus a bit more just to make sure, I will be sticking to 5k for a while but I do intend to work my way up to the half marathon distance,
