Have you run 10k or 60 minutes for the first time? If so, you’re in the right place to claim your new and shiny badge! Massive congratulations to you! It’s another milestone to be super proud of.

Now you’ve hit your latest goal; you might want to think about what’s next. There are some great suggestions on this thread here…
If you’re even a little bit tempted to go beyond 10k, make sure you pop over to the Fun Beyond 10k forum. There really is a lot of fun to be had there! You’ll be made very welcome, It’s common for people who are running 10k to think about entering events and there’s loads of support (and pom poms!) available there too. Here’s the link….
I ran my first 10k on Sunday as part of my training for a half marathon in April in aid of Cancer Research UK. I started running in June last year and never imagined I would get this far!
Congratulations!! Your new badge is now in place. I hope you’ve been celebrating another milestone and you’ve got more to come!!🏅👩🎓🏃♀️👏
It’s definitely worth popping over to Fun Beyond 10k for some brilliant support as you build to HM. They’ve got more badges for you over h there too! Enjoy the journey ❤️
Hi MU I spoke to you earlier on. Is this the right place to claim my shiny new virtual 10km badge. If not then could you point me in the right direction....many thanks
I ran my first 10K on Tuesday! 😁 after completing C25K 3 years ago I’ve not really strayed too far from my comfortable 5K. But the last couple of months I’ve been trying to be more consistent and my 5Ks have gotten stronger and stronger and I’ve been loving it! So the other day I decided I wanted to try and run for longer. I decided to slow down, concentrate on building endurance and just see how far I could comfortably get. I was so excited to when I hit 10K! I almost forgot how cold and wet it was! 😂 Now that I’ve run my first ever 10K I’m really excited to start including longer runs into my regular training. It’s an awesome feeling when I think about how much I’ve progressed in my running and fitness generally! Especially from where I started at the very beginning a few years ago when I struggled to run for even a minute. This process is awesome. Running is awesome! Really pleased ☺️
My running stats
Distance - 10k
Time - 1 hour 8 mins
Average pace - 6 minutes 53 seconds
This is absolutely amazing! 🤩 Massive congratulations to you. Some serious celebrations in order for your new badge. Wear with pride! 🏅🎉👩🎓🏃♀️
Those longer runs are so lovely to have as part of training. It’s worth popping over to the lovely Fun Beyond 10k board for loads of support and inspiration as those longer runs grow. You’ll get a very warm welcome from Irishprincess linda9389 and Beachcomber66 (and all the members over there too!)
That is a seriously quick first 10k HexGirl, congratulations. About 9 minutes quicker than my first; you would have had time to order and demolish a cooked breakfast before I finished!
When and if you would like to explore running further than 10k, say by aiming for a nice shiny 10 mile badge to start with, we would love to see you on Fun Beyond 10k. Many of post on different forums on different days anyway.
I waited a few months after completing my first 10k before heading on to increasing distance through 10 miles to HM; but I left taking up running until rather late in life! At this time of year, early in the New Year, many of us are building up for the Spring to Autumn seasons. Your 10k was timely🙂
Are you looking on your profile page? It only appears next to your name when you’re posting on Bridge to 10k. Your badge is visible here. Congratulations anyway though! Great to hear you’re still running!!
Hi MissUnderstanding, I'd like to claim my 10k badge, I finally managed the distance with 25 laps of the club track. Just over my target time for the Brighton 10 km on April the 7th, so thinking not too shabby for a one legged, asthmatic part deaf OAP .Keep winning at life 😀 everyone .
