Missed Monday because of the weather, 6k yesterday and concentrated on a hill workout today. Went to my local parkrun park and did one lap and then sprinted up the hills 3 x each.Slimming world and 6 a side tomorrow

Parkrun Saturday

Quick question will the hills help more on cardiovascular than running longer distances?

The hills will help with building up the strength in your legs and it is similar to resistance training and strength training. Hill repeats are like interval workouts. They help build speed and endurance.

Also I have found that losing weight can have the biggest effect on improving your running performance and overall health. I’ve lost 25 lbs and still have 5 lbs to go. Good luck in Slimming World.
