Out for 5k on the trails this morning and nice to get out in between showers.π§οΈ I knew it would be muddy underfoot so wore my trust Hoka Speedgoat trail shoes! With a trail event coming up soon, I thought it would be good to include a little βundulationβ in my run today. The hill I chose to run (twice!) is perhaps my nemesis, as I think it was where all my hamstring issues began, back in the summer last year. I have not been back since!
Anyway, I manage to keep plodding up it today, taking a short walk break at the top before the steeper run down the other side. This was so slippy today π± and second time round I nearly took a tumble when my left leg slipped on the muddy grass. Fortunately I regained my balance just in time! I then headed back to the local bridleway before finishing on the roads near my house.
Weather-wise, it stayed dry and was a little breezy, which I love! Although the hill felt hard, it was doable and I feel I ended the run feeling strong.π
The photo was taken on return from the run, in my garden - away from the slippy-slidey stuff! π
Shoes now clean, courtesy of my Boot Buddy! π
Happy running all!π

Thatβs a fabulous photo and tells us all how we all enjoy a good old muddy trail run. Well done on conquering your nemesis. Thereβs a few hill here and they are very hard sometimes especially when they are slippy and muddy.
You are doing brilliantly ππββοΈπββοΈππx
