I’m beginning to enjoy Erin’s chatter, as I train up again.

Erin is the Runkeeper coach for the app’s audio guided training program, equivalent to C25k.

Today, again, 3 min walk, 1 min run. Repeat 6 times.

Unlike NRC’s audio guided runs, the chatter is continuous throughout the 30minutes, so the music keeps playing at a low level all the way through. I had to get my head around this one, as I couldn’t understand why the music volume wouldn’t lift in her rather short silences in-between chatting.

Advantage of this is, that she keeps on talking about posture, breathing and technique. And that is not a bad thing.

Anyway, the little jeffing run felt good, especially as I had dressed to run, went to an early online meeting with international colleagues, and after the meeting just headed out to my run. It did make me feel mightily chuffed about myself!

Now to the rest of the day ….

Happy running, everyone!

Oh well done. I thought I’d give the challenge a rest, but am as usually keeping track of mileage.

I want to start an audio-coached series of walks on my Runkeeper app, that I will start soon. I’ve never done them, only did the audio guided walks on NRC.

So doing the Runkeeper ones will be exciting, I feel.
