🍎Running Red

There was an icy west wind and rain to greet me this morning & my immediate negative thought was, there goes my run… however late morning the rain stopped & out popped the sun! Perfect I thought as I quickly donned my laid out kit before I changed my mind!

What I didn’t realise that the whole world had converged down on the beach to watch the brave & beautiful head into the sea for the annual New Year’s Day swim. Certainly not on my agenda! So I headed inland away from the crowds and the biting winds to fulfill my mission. Red January Run 1 !!

It was a short 3K run before New Years Day Lunch, but enough time to contemplate how good it feels to be a runner, to be myself and to be grateful for the blessing of life! Run 1 done ❤️

Well done! Running every day for a month I don’t think I could do it. So conditioned to having rest days 🤣

🤣Not a chance Jools.I am doing the exercise every day version!!! My normal 3days running but a planned exercise for the other 4days!!

Yes I think that’s the main intention but not for the likes of us! I am too scared of injury
