🤣 Not the ideal forecast for an afternoon walk, but fun for a run! A buff and peaked cap over my hat I set off. Not too bad in suburbia as the rain was lighter than this morning & there was a little protection from the wind. The fun began as I hit the coastal path. I spent much of my time doing high speed chases after my peak cap & then slow running to slow down my breathing & my racing heart. I think I recall Coach Bennett saying a speed run was fun! A 3K run done ✅ I am glowing & feeling good. Mmm now for a cuppa and a small piece of Christmas Cake!

I was so pleased I had a rest day today. I don’t think it ever actually got light! Plus, the wind and rain just made me want to stay in near a radiator. Which I did!
Anyway, well done for getting out there 👏👍
Running after a nap looks beautiful!
But I can't imagine running in the sand on the beach?! That must be very difficult!
Big congratulations! 👍
I'll be glad when this wind does down, just did a half hour walk and came home soaked 😂, lovely that you got out and your sea looks like my sea
Whoa! Go you ! Wind and rain too strong and heavy for me this morning... brave soul you are !!!
oh agreed Floss! I didn’t go this morning when it was tipping down. It wasn’t so bad this afternoon except for the wind!
That sounds like an impromptu fartlek run!! Massive well done. Great photo too!
well done Annieapple …I can just imagine you chasing after your cap!!! A great way to get a bit of interval work in!! I hope you enjoyed your cake AA xx
P.s I love your sky photo x
🍏🤣Thank you!! A definite signing to interval work again.
I did enjoy cake thanks! One of my favourite Christmas foods besides mini mince pies.
A great run and a great photo - my beach looked very similar - and I did smile thinking of you running after your cap! 😊
